Her fury crystallized the day she unearthed a fragment of Azathoth’s crumbling throne among her father’s hidden relics. He had been consumed by the pursuit of forbidden truths—drawn to the Old Gods, their rituals, their silence. The artifact pulsed with an ancient, dreadful rhythm, and in its glow, she saw echoes of his descent into oblivion. No one ever spoke of how he died, only that he vanished beneath a moonless tide.
Left with questions that screamed louder than answers, she turned to the abyss he once worshipped. There, in salt and sacrifice, she bound herself to the Leviathan. Now, she is both blade and bride—harbinger of the Gods her father once chased, and avenger of every secret that drowned him.
POWER: Leviathan's Pact
Once per cycle, Mistress Midnight may command a Valkyrie Card to devour a Sacrifice Card. Can only be done when the Dream Fragment riddle is complete.
SECONDARY EFFECT: If no sacrifice is revealed to the Valkyrie before the next full moon, Mistress Midnight becomes revealed to the Old Gods and loses all protection until the next cycle.
